The National University Commission, today, ordered the closure of all Universities for one month, as part of measures to contain and prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
In a statement signed by the Deputy Executive Secretary (Academics), Dr. Suleiman Ramon-Yusuf, all Universities shall be closed for one month from Monday, 23rd March 2020.
In his words: “as part of measures to contain and prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the country, approval has been granted for the closure of all schools for a period of one (1) month, commencing from Monday, 23rd March 2020”.
