An Osun Magistrate Mobile Court in Iwo on Wednesday has sentenced 110 residents to three hours community service for violating COVID-19 protocols and failing to use pacemakers.
The 110 people were arraigned before Magistrates O T Badmus and Olalekan Adeniyi and eventually sentenced to threehours community service.
The team started their enforcement at Odo Ori with the assistance of security personnel.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, CP Abiodun Ige, rtd while addressing the convicts having performed their punishment, appealed to them to follow laid down regulations and protocols in order to assist the State Government in curbing the spread of the pandemic in the state.
