As concerns over COVID-19 continues to rise, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has said that the novel coronavirus will be contained and that the State ot Osun will not be submerged by the virus.

Pastor Adeboye, an eminent son of the State of Osun, shared this message with the State Government and people of Osun, assuring that the State shall defeat the pandemic .

According to him, “peace does not often come from absence of problems or challenges, it undoubtedly comes from the assurance that the challenges we are facing will not overwhelm us; from God-given confidence that when the trouble is over, we would be unscathed.”

He therefore advised that “the God-loving and God-fearing people of Osun State should remain calm and obey all directives from the government.”

Pastor Adeboye, who is the Chairman of the Osun State’s 21-man Food and Relief Committee recently made a donation of N 20 Million to the State Government of Osun to fight the pandemic. He called on all eminent sons and daughters of Osun to support the government in the fight against the pandemic through voluntary donations.

“I equally encourage all men and women of means across the State to join hands together and assist the government of our dear state by providing funds and equipment in order to keep our state safe”, Pastor Adeboye said.
