The Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun, Prince Abdullah Adeyanju Binuyo, on Friday, inspected the reconstructed conference Hall of the Ministry of Information and Civic Orientation, ahead of its official unveiling.
Binuyo, who showed up unannounced to inspect the project, commended the leadership of the Ministry for the dedication showed towards the project.
Binuyo extolled the transformation of the Conference Hall, which was formerly in a bad state due to a fire incident that left it a wreck, adding that it was a good thing that the long abandoned project is being done under Governor Oyetola’s administration. “This is really good job you have done here. Mr Governor will be pleased to see this. He is a leader who wants to make a difference and leave his mark in every sector. This conference hall is finally ready to serve the State after seven long years. Irrespective of paucity of funds , when Mr Governor makes a promise, he fulfils it.” Binuyo said.
The Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, in her response expressed the deep appreciation of the Ministry to the Oyetola administration. ” The Governor has been very supportive of our goals as the face of government . He is doing so much to help us deliver on our mandate. This refurbished conference hall is a major step towards lifting the image of the ministry. We appreciate his support and promise to continue to work hard to justify his investment in the ministry. ” Egbemode said.
