The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, on Thursday, commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun for his notable innovations since assuming office in 2018.
The Council, led by its chairman, Air Comodore Emmanuel Jekada (rtd), during a courtesy call on Oyetola in his office said Osun had tremendously improved across multiple sectors under Governor Oyetola.
Jekada, who described Oyetola as a worthy ambassador of the All Progressive Congress, said developmental strides of Oyetola’s administration had been impressive.

“He has further promoted the ideals of the All Progressive Congress in the State. His achievements have been impressive.
“As the Chairman of the Governing Council, I look forward to building a strong and lasting relationship between the State and the Polytechnic. I am sure the Governor is ready. He is a gentleman.
He is a father we can run to, and this is a plus for us”, Jekada said.
In his remark, the Rector of the Polytechnic, John Ade Kolawole, also lauded the notable innovations of the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, especially in the areas of education reforms, improvement of workers’ welfare and infrastructural developments.
