The IleriOluwa Development Initiative (IOD_Initiative) founded by the First Lady, State of Osun, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola has commenced house-to-house delivery of palliative to help cushion the effect of the lockdown as a result of Coronavirus ravaging the globe.
The package of the IOD_Initiative will also help assist Muslim faithful during this period of Ramadan. Volunteers and staff of the Initiative visited Eko-Ajala and Eko-Ende in Ifelodun LGA, Oree in Odo-Otin LGA and Oba-ile and Oba-Oke in Olorunda LGA today in the first tranche of the distribution.
The representatives of the Initiative urged people of the communities to observe a high level of safety, hygiene, and caution during this period of COVID-19 pandemic.
The beneficiaries were also advised to understand that the seat-at-home order of the state government was to help protect people against the spread of the virus.
They were further urged to regularly wash their hands with soap, use of face mask, sanitizers and to avoid crowded environment by practicing social distancing.
