Following the Monday morning inferno that destroyed commodities worth billions of naira at the Katsina Central Market, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has led the charge to resuscitate affected businesses with the donation of Fifty Million Naira to shop owners.

Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, announced the donation on Wednesday during his sympathy visit to traders and other victims of the fire incident in the company of the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari.

He said the donation was aimed at helping the traders pick up pieces of their lives and return back to the market and rebuild their enterprises.

While commiserating with victims of the fire incident, Tinubu maintained that despite the tragedy, the traders must never lose sight of the bigger pictures.

He also seized the opportunity to charge residents of the State and Nigerians in general on the need for peaceful coexistence and good neighbourliness.

Recall that the Central market was razed by an early morning inferno, on Monday, and ravaged many shops, destroying properties worth billions of naira in the process.

The market is the only international market around there where a lot of trading takes place.
