As Osun Schools prepare to resume, measures are being taken to ensure that all Covid-19  protocols are observed along  with the provision of protective items.

This is why the Ladoke Akintola Memorial Foundation deemed it fit to assist the government by donating  covid-19 protective items to schools through the State Ministry of Education.

Osun Commissioner for Education, Hon. Folorunso Oladoyin, while receiving the items in his office  with the Special Adviser on Education, Hon  Jamiu Olawumi commended   members of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Memorial Foundation for donating the protective items to schools.

Hon.  Folorunso, who received the materials on behalf of the State Government, appreciated the Foundation for its kind gesture, assuring the representatives of the organization that the items would be judiciously distributed.

The Commissioner enthused that the materials came at an auspicious time when schools in the state are about to resume fully.

He then challenged other establishments to emulate Ladoke Akintola Foundation by assisting the State in critical sectors like education and advised that education shouldn’t be left to government alone.

The Commissioner assured that the items would be given to students of the state and that it will stimulate them to  want to know more about the personality of the man, Ladoke Akintola.

Items donated by the Foundation were nose masks, hand sanitizers and books.
