In a bid to enhance the productivity of local government agricultural personnel in Osun State,the State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) will today (26/10/2021) kick-start a three-day workshop for all Heads of Agriculture Department, selected Agricultural Officers and Superintendents in all local governments areas within the State.
Venue of the workshop,which will be rounded off on Thursday, is the Local Government Service Commission Hall, Government Secretariat,Abere at 8 in the morning.
A release from the office of the Coordinating Director in the Commission,Prince Lekan Babalola,signed by the Director in charge of Administration, Training and Supply, Alhaji Kareem Buraimoh, indicates that the workshop will be declared open by the Chairman of the Commission,Elder Tunde Adedeji.
The release further explained that the workshop is specifically geared towards sustainable agricultural development in post Covid-19 era.
The statement then mandates all invited participants to come along with their identity cards,nomination letters as well as their facemasks, hinting that Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to.
