Osun Ministry of Culture and Tourism,has felicitated with the Osun born Actor, Director, Playwright, Social mixer and Producer; Damola Olatunji on his election as the Chairman of the Guild of Directors of Theater and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
In a congratulatory message signed by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Obawale Adebisi noted that Damola Olatunji remains a great asset to the film Industry in Nigeria.
Hon. Obawale in the release, expressed his delight over Olatunji’s election and described the new Chairman, TAMPAN Guild of Directors as a complete gentleman, resourceful and multi-talented in the film Industry whose web of experience cannot be undermined. The release which also disclosed that Damola is a proud indigene of Edunabon in Ife North Local Government Area of the State, stressed that, being a youth, he will explore his creative ingenuity in the entertainment industry to further improve the industry in his State of origin in particular, and Nigeria as a whole.
The release further stated that his worth of experience will be used to empower the teeming youths and Drama-inclined personalities, with a view to actualising the vission and mission of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to diversify the State economy through Culture and Tourism.
The Commissioner therefore prayed God to grant him the wisdom, strength and ability to steer the affairs of the Association and to be successful in all his dealings.
