In preparation for full resumption of students,Government of the State of Osun has commenced the distribution of COVID-19 protective materials to
Junior Secondary Schools.

Presiding over the distribution of water basins,liquid soaps,infrared thermometers, and sanitizers to the school principals,the Executive Chairman, State Universal Education Board, Hon.Ajibola Famurewa explained that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is committed to ensuring qualitative education and healthy living for all in the education sector.

According to Hon.Famurewa,the materials distributed will serve as preventive kit to ensuring that COVID-19 has no breathing space in Osun schools.

Earlier, the Executive Secretary, SUBEB,Mr.Adeoye Bakare had explained that the festering covid-19 is a matter of serious concern, hence the proactiveness of Governor Oyetola’s administration in taming it.

The SUBEB Scribe disclosed that new innovations have been introduced into schools’ operation in order to boost excellence in education and morals.

Speaking in separate interviews, the Commissioner in charge of Technicals, Chief (Dr.)Moshood Oluawo and the Commissioner for services,Hon.Amos Akindiya lauded the Governor for always considering issues relating to education as priority.

Responding on behalf of other school Principals, Mrs Elizabeth Adedeji and Mrs Olatunji commended the the present administration for leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety of teachers and students in Osun as full schools resumption beckon.
