According to Mrs Oyetola: “It is a pleasure to commission the newly constructed Kafayat Oyetola Ultra Modern open market stalls alongside the Oluode Health Care Centre built by the leadership and management of the Olorunda Local Government in Osogbo, Osun State.
“This is a project that will help the economic profile of the people in the Local Government area. It is particularly noteworthy that the Council is striving to enhance the economic development of our people.
“As the tier of government that is closest to the people, Local Governments have a great role at this special time to conceptualize and implement programs that will help our people tackle the economic challenges that may attend the coronavirus pandemic.
“The pandemic has assumed another frightening dimension which calls for great caution from our people. We must obey all non-pharmaceutical protocols by wearing our facemasks, washing our hands with soap regularly and observing social distance with one another.
“I appreciate the leadership and management of the Olorunda Local Government for this project and I also urge our people to make good use of this facilities”, Mrs Oyetola said.
