The State Government has priotized the development of youths in order to ensure they live a better life and contribute their own quota to the development of the nation through empowerment programs, skill acquisition and right knowledge.
The Commissioner, Ministry of Youths and Sports , Mr Olayemi Lawal stated this at the review of the State Youth Policy held at the conference room of the Ministry of Finance Osogbo.
According to him, the purpose of the gathering is to look into the draft of the youth policy and do heart to heart discussion, also to produce an acceptable working document on youth development in the state.
Further more, he recalled that the present administration started working on the state youth policy with all effort to guide the youths and address the enourmous challenges that are confronting the teeming youths in the State.
Speaking earlier, the co ordinating director ministry of youth and sports Mr Taiwo Agunlejika welcomed all the participants and also looking forward to see that youths are developed and also ensure they are on the right track.
Present at the events are the commissioners, Senior Special Assistants, Directors and other top government officials.
