The gains of the recent economic Summit in Osun is so robust that the government of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola can leverage on it for a resounding success.
This statement was made by the Deputy President of Osun Chamber of Commerce,Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OSUCCIMA),Mr Bisi Makanjuola during the December meeting of the Association held in Osogbo.
Describing the summit as peculiar and not just a talkshop, Mr Makanjuola noted that the resource persons engaged were highly knowledgeable in local and international experiences. OSUCCIMA Executive explained that the Summit had showcased the potentials of Osun in critical areas which could encourage local investors as well as attract foreign ones,emphasising that Osun is not a poor State.
While appreciating the State helmsman for his painstaking attendance of the Summit, Mr Makanjuola expressed the confidence that the Governor will follow up major suggestions and recommendations emanating therefrom to move the state forward.
He also expressed the willingness of OSUCCIMA,and the entire business community in the state, to serve as a platform for the state to advance economically.
Meanwhile, six sub committees had been set up to work out the modalities for the proposed local(Osun based) trade fair slated for the first quarter of the coming year.
