The government of the State of Osun has commenced a massive beautification of township roads and residential areas in the State.
While the government has completed the construction of culverts and drainages, as well as the tarring of roads in its Government Reserved Areas along Ilobu road and along Gbongan-Ibadan road; it has said that a span 465 meters is currently being constructed within Okefia GRA.
The Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade, in a statement released after the last State Executive Council meeting, said this move by the government is aimed at fast-tracking the development of the areas, which are sited in vantage locations that link other towns of the State.
Agunbiade commended Governor Oyetola for his prompt and quick approval of applications for Certificate Of Occupancy (C of O), adding that the lands acquired for local governments and local council development areas in Ifelodun, Iwo and Ife central local governments, would enable citizens at the grassroot have access to lands at affordable cost.
He also stated that the expanse of lands along Oora , Ijana, ldominasi, Idoka and Orisunbare are acquired to ease the distribution of water pipelines between kajola and Ilesa township in the fulfilment of Governor Oyetola’s promises to the people of the area.
