The State Government of Osun has commiserated with the family of Late Alhaja Kikelomo Raji, and with the members of the women wing of Osun State chapter of the All Progressive Congress.
A statement signed by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, described Raji as a distinguished party loyalist who gave a good account of herself in the capacity of the Deputy Women Leader in the State.
The statement read in part: “Alhaja Raji was a devoted politician who was committed to the progressive ideals of the party and the current administration in the State of Osun.
“This was evident through her outstanding grassroot mobilisation, especially of the women folks, in her constituency, Isokan Local Government Area of the State.
“The Governor is saddened by the loss of this dutiful leader, and is grateful for her labour, devotion and loyalty to his administration.
“We pray that God grants the family she left behind, the APC family in the State of Osun, and the people of Isokan Local Government Area, the fortitude to bear the loss”, the statement read.
