The State Government of Osun has commiserated with the family of Late Reverend Joshua Foluso Taiwo, and the Oke-Osun diocese of the Anglican Communion, over his passing.
In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, the government of the State of Osun described the late clergyman as a seasoned, diligent and committed journalist who was devoted to the media profession.
The statement read in part: “The government of the State of Osun wishes to commiserate with the family of Late Reverend Foluso Taiwo, the Anglican Communion and the bodies of media professionals in Nigeria, over his passing.
“He was a man whose bearing in the media profession was marked by commitment and professionalism. Whether it was at the Nigerian Television Authority or whilst he served as the Director of Communications of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), his commitment to outstanding practice remained steady.
“The government of the State of Osun mourns the departure of this noble and distinguished personality who has served humanity and our great country in different impactful capacities.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone in his circle of influence”, the statement read.
