The Lands and Physical Planning Ministry in the State of Osun is proposing to generate a hundred million naira monthly revenue this year.
The State Commissioner in the Ministry, Hon.Nathaniel Agunbiade who gave this impressions in a management meeting held today disclosed that the ministry’s revenue currently oscillates between 45 and 50 million naira monthly.
According to him,the exceeding increase was facilitated through the acquisition and reallocation of left over government lands and levies on natural resources which abound within the State.
While projecting that about 100 certificates of occupancy will be issued this year, the Commissioner applauded Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s effort in fast tracking the issuance of the certificate, which had hitherto been difficult to obtain.
He then appealed to those who have lingering issues with their certificates of occupancy to consult his office for speedy settlement.
