The State Government of Osun is set to employ 2500 teachers across the state.
This hint was given today by the State’s Commissioner of education, Honourable Folorunsho Oladoyin, presenting the stewardship report on education under Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Speaking at the maiden edition of “Apero” organised by the Ministry of Information and Civic Orientation to create a platform of interaction between the Governor and the people of Osun, the commissioner mentioned that data gathered during the Governor’s “Thank You Tour” and the report of the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development’s assessment of the state showed that there was a dearth of teachers across the state, for which the Governor has approved the employment of 2500 teachers to address.
Details of the recruitment will soon be made public soon, according to Oladoyin.
