Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has congratulated the CEO of Tuns Farms, Osogbo, Alhaji Khamis Tunde Badmus on the conferment of a Honorary Doctorate degree on him by the Alex Ekwueme Federal Univeristy, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State.
Alhaji Badmus who is also the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland was awarded a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the 5th convocation ceremonies of the institution in Abakaliki.
According to the university management, the award is in recognition of his contributions to humanity and the country as a successful business mogul and philanthropist.
Oyetola in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Thursday, said the honour was well deserved, and also appreciated the university’s governing council for finding Alhaji Badmus worthy of the award.
He further noted that the award was a testament to Asiwaju’s outstanding contributions to the development of Osun in particular and the nation at large, adding that the foremost businessman has led an impactful life.
The governor wished the awardee good health, more wisdom and strength that will enable him render more services to Osun, Nigeria and humanity in general.
