Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun says despite the challenges, President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) has made remarkable and impactful contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria, describing him as an incorruptible and people-oriented leader.
Oyetola said this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, to congratulate the President who marks his 78th birthday anniversary on Thursday, 17 December.
He said under President Buhari’s administration, Nigeria has made steady progress in every sector of the economy, noting that the president has since coming to power, exhibited exceptional leadership qualities, uncommon patriotism and high level of integrity, which according to him, have endeared him to people within and outside the country.
The Osun governor further emphasised that Buhari’s impacts are visible in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure, security, youth empowerment, human capital development, among others.
He added that the president’s commitment to the unity, stability and development of the country, is exemplary and commendable.
Oyetola therefore called on Nigerians, irrespective of political, religious and ethnic affiliations, to continue to pray for and support Mr. President as he strives to take Nigeria to the Next Level.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of the State of Osun, I heartily join the rest of the country to congratulate, Your Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) on the occasion of your 78th birthday.
“It is noteworthy to mention that, despite the noticeable challenges confronting our nation, you have made remarkable and impactful contributions to the growth and development of the country. You have been an incorruptible, honest and people-oriented leader.
“Since you assumed office, you have continued to demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, uncommon patriotism and a high level of integrity, which have endeared you to people within and outside the country. Under your leadership, Nigeria has made steady progress in every sector of the economy.
“Your impacts are visible in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure, security, youth empowerment, human capital development, among others. I must say that your commitment to the unity, stability and development of the country, is exemplary and commendable.
“As you add another year today, I pray to Almighty Allah to continue to grant you good health, more wisdom, strength and longer life in the service of our nation and her people. Happy birthday, Mr President,” Oyetola said.
