Governor of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola was on Friday eulogized and described as a kind-hearted and responsible Governor who does not want his people to suffer any hardship.
These were the words of vulnerable residents of Ifedayo Local Government who were beneficiaries of the palliatives put together by the Government of Osun through the 21-man Food and Relief Committee constituted by Governor Oyetola.
About 740 beneficiaries made up of the aged, widows and other vulnerable groups in Oke-Ila and Ora-Ìgbómìnà who received the package were full of gratitude to Governor Oyetola.

noting that the food items received will serve his family for at least a week.
He said, “I was already thinking of what to eat this evening and this has come at the right time. I sent message to my son in Osogbo to send me food, but he too is in a tight situation right now. I have no doubt in my mind that Oyetola is God-sent and I pray that God continues to be with him”.
In the words of Mrs. Racheal Omolayo, also of Aba Balogun compound in Oora-Igbomina, “I thought things like this could only happen in advanced countries for government to take food items to the people in their domain. Seriously, I am amazed, this is real wisdom and compassion from our Governor.
“I am not a member of any political party, but I thank God that I voted for Oyetola during the election. This really means that my vote has paid off and I am so happy. May God bless my Governor”, she stressed.
According to Mrs. Elizabeth Lucky of Ile-lode in Oke-Ila, “I am grateful to God and I thank Governor Oyetola for allowing God to use him in the provision of this food items. I must tell you the fact, me and my kids have been facing hunger.

Mrs. Kemisola Oyekanmi of Ile-Oba Asikin compound in Oke-Ila said she never thought of receiving anything from government because she feels the government must have spent huge amount in the efforts to curtail the spread of Covid-19.
She noted that she was already impressed with the effort and commitment the administration had already shown in curtailing the spread of the deadly virus in Osun, saying the distribution of the food items is like a miracle she was not expecting to happen.
“Honestly speaking, I was not expecting it. When I got the call to come and receive food materials from government I thought it could never be true, but I have actually received food items and I am so happy and grateful to God and Governor Oyetola”. She stated.
The Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba(Dr) Adedokun Omoniyi also commended Governor Oyetola in inaugurating the Food and Relief Committee to provide food for the vulnerable during the lockdown.
He thanked the members of Committee for taking out of their resources to feed the vulnerable. He called on other wealthy members of the public to key into the efforts of the Governor and the Committee by contributing their own quota.
“Sincerely speaking, Governor Oyetola is a kind-hearted and a silent achiever. He is not like some of us who are very loud, but I must say that he is a good man and a loving Governor. May God bless him for doing this for his people at this very difficult time,” the monarch stated.
