The Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has charged the newly crowned Olona of Ada town, Oba Dr. Oyetunde Ojo, to sustain peace as well as attract massive investment opportunities to the town.
Oyetola, who described Ada as a town blessed with both human and material resources that could make it a choiced destination for investors, urged the monarch to ensure a robust development during his reign.
This is as the governor presented the staff of office to the monarch during the coronation ceremony on Saturday, in Ada, Boripe local government area of the state.
Oyetola also charged the monarch to rule the people with the fear of God and to seek peace, prosperity, as well as development of the town.
According to him, the monarch has a duty to collaborate with everyone both within and outside the country as part of strategies to ensure that the town experiences the desired development.
Responding, the newly installed Olona of Ada, assured that efforts would be made under his reign to ensure that the town progresses beyond its present status.
The monarch, meanwhile lauded Oyetola as a visionary governor and one that is passionate about the development of the entire state, commending him for the several projects he has embarked upon.
According to him, in spite of the Coronavirus pandemic that had affected several economies globally, Oyetola has continued to steady the sail of the State in ways that guarantee progress.
Oba Oyetunde Ojo, who described Oyetola as a stand-out performer among his peers and a beacon of hope, urged the people of Osun not to hide under any political difference to cast aspersions on the government, insisting that Oyetola and his cabinet deserve commendation for the numerous achievements the administration had recorded in the last three years.
