The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has been named Ambassador for better health by the UHC 2023 Forum in collaboration with Chatham House, London.
This is in recognition of his administration’s performance in the health sector.
The Executive Secretary of the Osun Health Insurance Agency, Dr Niyi Oginni disclosed this during the mass distribution of OHIS beneficiaries cards last Thursday.
Oyetola’s decoration will be done at the UHC Summit at the Yar’Adua International Conference Centre, Abuja, on 16th December 2021.
Oginni, who outlined the achievements of the Agency, lauded Oyetola for giving life to the scheme which has now become a reference point for other Health Insurance Agencies in the country.
