The Government of Osun State has announced the release of the first batch of beneficiaries of the Vehicle Refurbishing Loan approved by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to various categories of civil servants.
Recall that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, had on the first work day of 2022, approved the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira as car refurbishing loan for Osun workers.
The State Committee on Vehicle Refurbishing Loan, in a statement, lauded the administration of Governor Oyetola for its efforts at motivating Osun workers.
The committee also lauded the government for the pride of place it has given to the civil service as a critical driver of government policies and programmes.
The committee, while congratulating the first batch of beneficiaries, said the loan was expected to be paid back within a tenor of five years over 60 instalments.
It enjoined workers who were yet to be enlisted to keep their hope strong and alive, adding that the second batch of beneficiaries will be released soon.
It urged successful applicants to proceed, with immediate effect, with the purchase of agreement forms through their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
Successful applicants, according to the statement, are to check their names at various locations within the State Secretariat where the names are posted.
