The Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed AyotundeOlabomi, has described Oyetola’s recognition as the Governor of the Year 2021 by Vanguard Newspaper as one out of numerous recognition of his incredible achievements in governance.

Oba Olabomi said Oyetola’s performance in the face of daunting challenges have made Osun thrive far beyond imaginations in recent times.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Press Officer to Aragbiji of Iragbiji, the reverred monarch used to occassion to urge citizens of the state to join hands with Oyetola, who he described as a man of honour, competence and exceptional leadership skills.

He also used the occasion of the award to wish Oyetola a resounding victory at the July 16 gubernatorial election.

“On the occasion of being crowned the Governor of the Year 2021 by the Vanguard Newspaper at an event which held on Friday 20th May, 2022 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, I, Oba Abdur-Rasheed AyotundeOlabomi, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji land, congratulate the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, for clinching such a prestigious award.

“This is one of the numerous recognitions of the Governor’s incredible achievements in governance in the face of daunting challenges which has made the State of Osun thrive far beyond one’s imagination in recent times.

“The ‘Vanguard Personality of the Year 2021’ event was designed specially to honour individuals who have performed outstandingly well in their offices in bringing growth and development in their service to humanity. This is to add up to such landmark recognitions of His Excellency’s performance by credible media houses and other institutions in the country.

“I use the occasion of the award to wish Mr Governor a flawless and resounding victory at the forthcoming Governorship election which will hold on Saturday July 16th, 2022.

“I also urge citizens of the state to join hands with a man of honour who has shown competence and exceptional leadership skills over the last three and half years as he has led the State of Osun to unimaginable heights. This will surely advance the cause of the state.

“I wish the Governor of Osun State continued success in his ongoing tenure and pray that the Almighty God will continue to grant him good health and wisdom to keep up the good works he has started”, Oba Olabomisaid.
